A CAMPAIGN SUITABLE FOR THE SPIRIT OF RAMADAN
Extending a helping hand to the needy with its understanding of social municipality, the Metropolitan Municipality is instrumental in the growth of the goodness movement by delivering the aid of the citizens to those in need in the month of Ramadan, when togetherness and solidarity come to the fore.
In the capital, where the spirit of solidarity grows during Ramadan, the water bills of the citizens who receive social aid are paid with the "Give Water" application on the "ankaratekyurek.com" address, and "100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 TL" is given to the needy with the "Give Hand" application. amount of cash assistance.
Since the beginning of Ramadan (as of April 13, 2022), philanthropic citizens have paid 11 thousand 243 TL for 745 thousand 468 water bills, while they have provided cash support of 3 million 788 thousand 1 TL to 128 thousand 700 people.
Since the launch of the "Pay Electricity Bill" campaign, philanthropists have paid 413 TL for 38 electricity bills.
ABB also announced that as a first in Turkey, 25 families in need under the registered hunger limit will be able to support their Başkent Cards with online payments.
