'City Like Poetry' Application Launched for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Staff

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş kept his promise to Esila, whom he handed over his seat on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day. The “City Like Poetry” application was launched for the personnel to start the day with high motivation. While the Press, Publication and Public Relations Department has placed a screen with literary poems at the entrance of the municipality building, a Telegram account has been created where a different poem will be shared every weekday.

The personnel working in Ankara Metropolitan Municipality will now start their shift with poetry.

Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş said that hearing-impaired little Esila, to whom he transferred his seat on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day, said, “Today, I wish this city to be a city like poetry. From now on and afterwards, I want Ankara Metropolitan Municipality employees to start work with a poem that the president will send them every day.”

Yavaş said, “I really liked our Ankara Metropolitan Mayor's slogan 'a city like poetry'. I will instruct all the personnel working in Ankara Metropolitan Municipality to start work with a poem every day of the working day," he said.

A SCREEN IS PLACED ON THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, A TELEGRAM ACCOUNT IS CREATED

The Press and Public Relations Department placed a screen with literary poems at the entrance of the ABB service building for the staff to read before starting work every morning.

While creating a Telegram account where a different literary poem will be shared every day, the following statements were included in the text message sent to the staff:
