Over 765K People Evacuated from Danger Zones in Ukraine
Within the scope of the humanitarian aid mobilization initiated by Turkey on February 27, so far 21 trucks and 1 mobile kitchen truck by AFAD Presidency, 46 trucks by the Ministry of Health, municipalities, the Turkish Red Crescent, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, a total of 67 humanitarian trucks. relief material and 1 mobile kitchen truck were dispatched.
The mobile kitchen truck served hot meals at the Siret Border Gate in Romania on March 12-18. As of March 20, 2022, the truck started to serve hot meals in Lviv, Ukraine.
In Ukraine, the AFAD humanitarian aid team of 4 people continues to work in Siret and Lviv to identify humanitarian needs, carry out humanitarian aid activities and coordinate the aid sent from Turkey.
To date, approximately 210 thousand (unit/unit) humanitarian aid materials have been distributed at the Siret Border Gate.
