Hasan Pezük, General Manager of TCDD Transportation, said that high-speed trains (YHT) have gone through an era in transportation to Turkey.

Pezuk stated that 63 million passengers have been transported so far on the Ankara-Istanbul, Ankara-Konya-Karaman and Istanbul-Konya-Karaman, Ankara-Eskişehir routes with YHTs. In his statement, Pezük said, “We carry more than 600 thousand passengers on average per day; We offer our citizens a fast, comfortable and economical journey on high-speed trains, mainline, regional and urban passenger trains. While transporting an average of 22 passengers a day on the Ankara-Istanbul, Ankara-Konya-Karaman and Istanbul-Konya-Karaman, Ankara-Eskişehir routes with YHTs that have advanced in transportation to our country, we have brought together 500 million citizens with the comfort and speed of YHT so far.
