With the Family Education Program (AEP), which is carried out by the Ministry of Family and Social Services to contribute to the formation of healthy, happy and prosperous families, 2,5 million people have been provided with free education to date.

The Family Education Program (AEP) was launched in 2012 by the General Directorate of Family and Community Services, affiliated to the Ministry, in order to provide trainings for families in the fields of family communication, law, economics, media and health.

Since the program was implemented, various trainings have been given to families in order to help them benefit more effectively from the services provided, to increase the quality of life of individuals, to effectively manage all kinds of resources that families have, and to contribute to taking precautions against various risks they may encounter.

Families can attend the trainings organized in many institutions in 81 provinces or online by applying to the website of the AEP or the implementing institutions. In addition, citizens can request the opening of the trainings they need from both the AEP website and the implementing institutions.

The trainings are offered free of charge at the Provincial Directorates and Social Service Centers affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

With the AEP, which was implemented to contribute to the formation of healthy, happy and prosperous families, 2,5 million people have been reached so far.

The program consists of 5 modules in 28 areas.

The AEP consists of 5 modules in 28 areas: family education and communication, law, economics, media and health, developed by taking into account the basic needs of families regarding family education.

With the modules in the field of family education and communication, it is aimed to deal with family life with a holistic approach, to provide information about the problems that may occur in different periods of life, and to gain awareness and skills that will serve to solve these problems.

With the modules in the field of law, it is aimed to raise knowledge and awareness about the rights and obligations of family members towards each other and against individuals and institutions outside the family.

It is aimed to become a “stronger society” with trainings

While the modules in the field of economics inform families about economic resources and the correct and effective management of these resources, the modules in the field of health aim to protect and improve family health, increase the quality of life, fight diseases more effectively, and become a stronger society by minimizing health costs.

With the trainings given in the field of media, it is aimed that family members be better equipped, conscious and stronger in the face of the media, benefit from media-related services more effectively and take precautions against various risks they may encounter in the media.

At the same time, it helps individuals to make the most of media opportunities and to have the knowledge and skills to minimize the possible harm.
