Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu announced that a tripartite summit will be held with his Russian and Ukrainian counterparts, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitro Kuleba, at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on March 10. In addition, Çavuşoğlu said, “We want to deport our 3 thousand citizens from Ukraine. We evacuated,” he said.
Çavuşoğlu said:
“We worked hard to bring the two sides together. Yesterday, our President expressed this issue in his meeting with Putin. Lavrov expressed his readiness to meet. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed us that he will attend the meeting. Both ministers asked me to take part in the meeting. Therefore, we will hold this meeting as three. I hope we will hold this meeting on Thursday, March 3 in Antalya. We hope this meeting will be a turning point.”
