The traveling cinema truck, which set off in 2018 with the aim of introducing cinema to children who do not have easy access to movie theaters and who could not find the opportunity to go to the movies, and to bring cultural and artistic activities closer to the daily lives of children, will continue its journey in 2022.

For the project carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of Cinema and the Association for the Hit the Road, films will be screened to elementary and secondary school students in districts that do not have a movie theater, with a specially designed truck with a capacity of 90 people and with appropriate technical equipment and air-conditioning.

In the traveling cinema truck, which also allows about 750 children to watch movies with their families in the open air, various interactive art activities will be held before the movie screenings, and children will also meet with other branches of art.

The first stop of the project, which is planned to visit Bolu, Düzce, Sakarya Çankırı, Kütahya, Afyonkarahisar, Konya, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Kırıkkale, Yozgat Tunceli, Malatya, Elazığ, Tunceli, Adana, Hatay and Kilis, will be Tekirdağ today.

Traveling cinema has introduced hundreds of thousands of children to the silver screen in 54 cities and 162 districts from Siirt to Artvin, from Ağrı to Kastamonu, from Diyarbakır to Giresun.
