Uygar Kantarcıoğlu (12), a gifted student of the Buca Science and Art Center, who made Buca's name known to the world with the international awards he received, became the pride of the city with his achievements in piano.

Young talent from İzmir, Uygar Kantarcıoğlu, was introduced to art when he was only 3 years old with Orff education. After her pre-school basic art education, she won the TRT İzmir Radio Polyphonic Children's Choir auditions and became a choirist. Participating in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Child Composers Meeting with his compositions, the little talent had the opportunity to do workshops with Turkey's leading musicians such as Cihat Aşkın, Ozan Evrim Tunca, and Turgay Erdener.

THE PRIDE OF BUCA SCIENCE ART CENTER

Kantarcıoğlu met the Buca Science and Art Center, which was established by the Mayor of Buca, Erhan Kılıç to revive the spirit of Kızılçullu Village Institute, about 2 years ago, and started to continue his piano studies with Belit Karaca, the teacher of the center. The little pianist, who also won the admiration of President Kılıç with his compositions, became the pride of Buca with the awards he received one after another in international competitions.

INTERNATIONAL AWARDS

Kantarcıoğlu, who participated in the Austria Vienna International Music Competition with his own composition last year, ranked third in the Italy Orbetello Piano Competition with his piano performances, second in the world in Spain Carles & Sofia International Piano Competition, second in the Carles Sofia International Piano Competition and Mozart Academy International Piano Competition. received third place awards. It won the best piano performance award in the organization organized by Kyra.Global, the education center aiming to develop the young generation in the fields of innovation, innovation, research and creativity in Indonesia. Kantarcıoğlu, who received the B category jury special award in the field of piano and key instruments at the CAKA Music Competition, which he recently participated in, continues to take part in social responsibility projects at Buca Science and Art Center with his individual piano performance.
