The World Is Talking About Turkey! Bayraktar TB3 SİHA Will Take Off From Giant Warship

Using the National SİHAs as a 'herd' for the first time, Turkey is making innovations that will mark the history of naval warfare. Bayraktar TB232 SİHA, which will be used in Turkey's largest warship with a length of 3 meters, which will be included in the inventory by the end of the year, is preparing for the first flight. Turkey, which will deploy 30 to 50 SİHAs to TCG Anadolu, will also have broken new ground in the world with this move.

After the USA removed Turkey from the F-35 project, a step was taken for Turkey's largest warship TCG Anadolu that would change the balance in the field. In addition to helicopters, SİHAs will also serve as aircraft on Turkey's largest warship with a length of 2022 meters, which will be included in the inventory until the end of 232. Bayraktar company, which is closely followed by the world with UAVs and SİHAs, rolled up its sleeves and in a short time, Bayraktar TB3, a SİHA that could take off and land automatically on the giant warship, was revealed. Bayraktar TB3 SİHA is expected to make its first flight from TCG Anadolu this year.

Bayraktar TB3 will have a higher payload capacity (2 kg versus 150 kg) and foldable wings to save space during transportation, as well as the ability to take off from short runways compared to Bayraktar TB280. A large number of domestic ammunition can be used in the SİHA, which will have a 24-hour airtime.

Bayraktar TB3 will be the first MALE class SİHA developed for take-off and landing from LHD class ships. Turkey, which will deploy between 30 and 50 SİHAs to TCG Anadolu, will have broken new ground in the world with this move. It is also stated that with the command center to be integrated into TCG Anadolu, at least 10 Bayraktar TB3 SİHAs can be used in operations at the same time.

One of the most important steps in Turkey's maritime defense was taken in 2016 and the 4-year work has finally come to an end. TCG Anadolu, Turkey's largest warship, whose Port Acceptance Tests started on July 1, 2020, will take office at the end of this year, unless there is a change in the schedule.
