TCDD Will Spray for Weed Control on Railways in the Eastern Mediterranean

The General Directorate of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) stated that spraying will be carried out between the stations in Adana, Mersin, İskenderun, Toprakkale and Mamure on 22-24 March within the scope of weed control.

The statement made by the General Directorate of TCDD is as follows; “Between 22-24 March 2022; Spraying will be done between Adana - Mersin - Adana, Adana - Toprakkale - Iskenderun, Iskenderun - Toprakkale - Mamure - Adana stations within the scope of weed control.

The drugs used in the fight pose a danger to human and animal health due to their impressive properties. Citizens should be careful around the specified railway line sections and stations. For ten days from the date of spraying on the railway route and nearby lands; It is important that citizens do not approach the sprayed area, keep their animals away from the specified places and remove the bees.

APPLICATION DATES AND ROUTE

1. Between Adana-Mersin-Adana station and stations from 22.03.2022,
2. Between Adana- Toprakkale- İskenderun station and stations on 23.03.2022,
3. Spraying will be done between İskenderun- Toprakkale- Mamure- Adana gar and stations on 24.03.2022.
