In order to prevent producers from being affected by the increase in milk production costs due to the pandemic process and the developments in the world markets, the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry increased the amount of raw milk support premium to 80 lira by increasing 1 cents.

The National Dairy Council announced the recommendation sales price of raw milk as 8 lira per liter, effective from December 2021, 4,70.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, on the other hand, announced that 20 kurus per liter of raw milk support would be given on top of this price. However, with the aim of protecting the sustainability and increasing production costs as a result of the developments in the world markets, it increased the raw milk support to 1 lira by increasing 2022 cents per liter, effective from March 80, 1.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will reevaluate the raw milk support quarterly in order to protect the dairy producers and will continue to protect the producers.
