Operation Eren Kış-28 Martyr Gendarmerie Private Adem Erbaş was launched by the Ministry of Interior in Şırnak.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, Operation Eren Kış-28 (Şırnak-Gabar Mountain) Martyr J.Er Adem Erbaş was launched in Şırnak province with the aim of removing the PKK terrorist organization from the country's agenda and neutralizing the terrorists who are considered to be sheltering in the region.
In the operation by the Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Commando Brigade Command; 648 personnel and 40 operational teams, consisting of Gendarmerie Commando, Police Special Operations (PÖH) and Security Guard teams, are on duty. The Eren Winter Operations, which are carried out to completely eliminate terrorism in the country, continue with the support of our people, faithfully and resolutely.
