Environmental inspectors between the ages of 5-16 came together with the project initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change in order to create environmental sensitivity and raise awareness. Environmental inspectors participating in the program held in a shopping center accompanied the entertaining games. Within the scope of the program, children were informed about the environmental inspectorate, zero waste workshops and recycling.

Children who want to be "Environmental Inspectors" are given some tasks. Thanks to these tasks, it is aimed that children have fun, learn about nature, and transfer what they have learned to their friends and families.

Making statements about the event held, Konya Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Hülya Şevik emphasized that climate change affects both the country and the world negatively, and that everyone should do their part in this process and said, need to be educated and educated. Here, we are carrying out this work with our environmental inspector children under the coordination of the Education and Publication Department of our Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. This is a study carried out in all provinces. Today we were together in Konya. There are some activities that teach our children to transform, reuse, not waste and be frugal. Some materials are produced from recyclable waste, and our children will be shown how bad waste is and how it can be brought into the economy. Because we know that our raw material is not infinite, our nature is not infinite. Therefore, it is necessary to protect these natural resources in order to protect them and to reach future generations. We also see the negative effects of climate change in our country. In order to prevent these, it is important for us to change these behaviors at a young age. That's why we do this kind of work with our children. From now on, we will continue to act as the provincial directorate," he said.
