The amount loaded on the Education Card, which is used by primary and secondary school students in need in 30 districts of the city, has been increased from 140 lira to 170 lira. Stating that 65 thousand students have benefited from the application in the last three years, President Soyer said that they have increased their solidarity with the support to be delivered to 30 thousand more students in the new term.

The Education Card, which is delivered to primary and secondary school students in need in 30 districts of İzmir, can be used by stationers registered with the district chambers of commerce under the coordination of İzmir Chamber of Book and Stationery Craftsmen and İzmir Chamber of Commerce. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality allocated a budget of 2022 million liras for the Education Card in 5,1. It is aimed that 140 thousand students will benefit from the support, which has been increased from 170 liras to 10 liras and reached 187 liras with the 2022% discount to be applied by contracted stationery stores, in the 2023-30 academic year. Thus, the number of students benefiting from the Education Card application will reach 95.
