The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) offers the Büyükderbent Station, which has been closed for a while, to the service of the citizens. Examining the latest status of the works at the station days before its opening, TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş said that they will bring the station together with the citizens in a short time.
With the opening of the station, our citizens will be able to reach Istanbul and Adapazarı quickly and safely by train.
Büyükderbent Station, which has been suspended for a while, is counting the days to meet its new passengers. The "On-Site Solution Team", headed by TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş, made investigations at the "Ada Train Büyükderbent Station", which will provide uninterrupted service on the "Adapazarı-Gebze Line". General Manager Akbaş reviewed the latest situation at the station, which will be put into service again, and gave instructions to complete the deficiencies.
TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş said, "We will meet our citizens by train soon," and said, "We, our Minister, Adil Karaismailoğlu, and we stand behind the promise we made to our people. We will open on the promised date. Before the end of March, we are bringing our people together by train. Today we did our final inspection. We reported our shortcomings to our staff. During the examinations, TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş was accompanied by the Head of Railway Modernization Department Selim Bolat, 1st Regional Manager Necmettin Acar, Kartepe Municipality Deputy Mayors Mehmet Yaman and Bali Holat.
