The Chinese State Food and Drug Administration has approved the registration application for 5 new COVID-19 antigen test products. A total of 10 new test products were launched.
For antigen self-testing, careful reading of the instruction manual and procedures such as sampling, sample addition, and result interpretation should be performed in a standardized manner according to prescribed requirements and procedures.
"For self-testing, a nasal swab is usually taken, and the general temperature for testing is room temperature, neither too cold nor too hot," said Li Jinming, Deputy Director of the National Health Commission's Clinical Testing Center.
