Within the framework of the target of 100 billion dollars trade volume between Turkey and the USA, Commercial Diplomacy Events will be held in the USA under the coordination of the Presidency of Communications and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM).

A delegation of senior officials, members of parliament and business people from Turkey will be in the USA on March 14-18, 2022 to hold various meetings.

The delegation will hold talks on trade diplomacy and bilateral economic relations in Washington and New York.

Turkey-USA relations, new horizons in economic cooperation and potential economic cooperation areas will be discussed in the visit program, President of the Presidency Investment Office Ahmet Burak Dağlıoğlu, Chief Advisor to the Presidency and Member of the Economic Policy Board Cemil Ertem and Parliamentary Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission Chairman, AK Party Konya Deputy Ziya Altunyaldız, TİM Deputy Chairman Başaran Bayrak, TİM Brand Council Vice President Süleyman Orakçıoğlu, TOBB Vice President Ayhan Zeytinoğlu and business people will attend.

The delegation will meet with Turkish and American business people, and will visit the US Departments of State and Commerce and the United States Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation, which will hold talks on increasing commercial relations between the USA and Turkey at the Atlantic Council think tank, will also meet with members of the American and international press.

Within the framework of the program, panels and trade diplomacy workshops will be organized to increase Turkey's role in transatlantic exports. Panels titled "Joining Forces for Prosperity: Turkey-America Relations" and "Turkey and America's Initiatives for New Horizons: 100 Billion Dollars Trade Target" will be held at Turkevi in ​​New York.

The four-day program, jointly organized by the Presidency of Communications and TIM, is expected to contribute positively to the dynamics of commercial relations between Turkey and the USA.
