The construction of Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcome Center, which will be brought to the city by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, continues.

Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that they are working hard to make Konya the tourism capital of Anatolia and that the construction of vision projects that will contribute to this issue in the last period continues.

Noting that one of the important investments that will leave a great mark on the future of the city is Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcoming Center, Mayor Altay said, “The Promotion and Welcome Center in Çatalhöyük, which is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world with a history of nearly 10 thousand years and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. continues to rise. Thousands of researchers and tourists from our country and the world visit this place every year. We are working to introduce this important center to the world more. We have completed 70% of our Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcoming Center, where we will host the visiting guests in the best way possible. We are planning to open the center, which will add value to the promotion of Çatalhöyük, which stands out as the oldest settlement in the history of humanity, and to our city, by completing it this year. There will be indoor and outdoor areas, bus and vehicle parks in the 28.500 square meter project area of ​​Çatalhöyük Promotion and Welcoming Center, which was implemented by Konya Metropolitan Municipality with the support of Mevlana Development Agency.
