The winners of the e-Founder competition, organized by Boğaziçi University Operations Research Club every year since 2016, and held for the 2022th time in 6, have been announced.
In the online competition, university students explained their business plans on how to turn their ideas into business. Out of hundreds of applications, the top three were determined as a result of the evaluation made by the jury for the 10 startups that made it to the finals. Varsapp was first, Re-Fil was second, and Modelify.ai was third.
Entrepreneurs will be supported to grow their businesses by providing different gifts such as company establishment, AWS, HubSpot, Miro, Twilio credits that startups can benefit from free of charge, as well as the use of a common workspace under the sponsorship of the fintech startup WorqCompany.
Varapp: It is a platform where unused items can be safely rented and additional income can be obtained, as well as items can be rented.
Re-Fil: It is a new generation shopping point that works with the SaaS model, where household hygiene products are purchased through refilling, users can use their own bottles or flexible re-fil pouches, and pay only for the product.
Modelify.ai: It is an MLOps product that enables to bring artificial intelligence models to life in less than two minutes. It enables data scientists and machine learning practitioners to manage their models from a single platform.
