Izmir Metropolitan Municipality appealed the decision of the Izmir 4th Administrative Court regarding the construction tender of Buca Metro. The Metropolitan Municipality applied to the Council of State regarding the decision today. The application will be evaluated by the 13th Chamber of the Council of State.
What happened?
Nurol A.Ş., which was in the last stage of the tender. and Yapı Merkezi A.Ş. filed a lawsuit with the İzmir 4th Administrative Court against the exclusion of business partnership proposals. The court ruled to cancel the proceedings regarding the decision process of the tender.
EBRD rejects appeal against decision

The joint venture also appealed to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) regarding the tender for the construction of the Buca Metro, and the EBRD announced that the objection was rejected. In the international tender, 13 companies were able to get prequalification and 8 of them competed to get the tender. As a result of the evaluation, the tender was awarded to Gülermak A.Ş. The groundbreaking ceremony of the Buca Metro, the biggest investment in İzmir's history, was held on February 14, and İzmir flocked to Buca for the ceremony.
