The 1915 Çanakkale Bridge, which connects the two sides of the Dardanelles Strait, will be put into service with an opening organization that will further strengthen the meaning of this year's 18 March Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs' Day ceremonies.

The project stands out with its technical features as well as its symbolic and historical features; Fog, icing and accident risks will be monitored by artificial intelligence from control centers. Energy savings will also be achieved thanks to the LED highway lighting system.
Together with the bridge, the 101-kilometer Malkara-Çanakkale Highway will cause great changes both in Çanakkale, in the Marmara Region, in the Aegean Region, and especially in the western parts of the country. With the strong transportation infrastructure of the project, it will accelerate industry, technology, production, employment, tourism and agriculture.
