The first of the training seminars for tourism sector employees by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Research and Education General Directorate was held at the hotel in Manavgat, Antalya.
Within the scope of the practical training given by the master trainers of the Ministry, sector employees received training on front office, housekeeping, food and beverage service and food production in the 5-day course.
150 trainees who successfully complete the programs titled "On the Job Training Courses" and "Personal Development Seminar" are entitled to receive a certificate. kazanwas.
In his speech at the ceremony, Ministry of Culture and Tourism Research and Training General Manager Okan İbiş said that they attach great importance to the non-formal vocational tourism training activities carried out in order to improve the service quality by improving the professional knowledge and skills of the personnel working in accommodation and catering establishments.
Stating that an average of 4 thousand sector employees improve their skills with the training given each year, İbiş said:
“Within the scope of the framework protocol signed with the Ministry of National Education, it is aimed that the students studying in the vocational and technical Anatolian high schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in the fields of accommodation and travel services, food, beverage services and entertainment services will receive education in hotels and businesses. We aim for these students to graduate by learning at least three foreign languages, to receive scholarships while studying, to be employed after graduation, and to contribute to increasing the qualifications and professional development of our teachers.
The work, which started with 2018 facilities and schools in 5, reached 2021 facilities and 38 schools in 54. Latif Sesli, the general manager of the hotel, said that their company started as a small apart hotel in 1992 and continues to contribute to the country's economy and employment with 6 hotels today.

After the speeches, the hotel employees who successfully completed the training were presented with their certificates.
