Work on the Ankara Istanbul YHT Line Continues Uninterrupted

Metin Akbaş, General Manager of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), made investigations in the Sapanca-Gevye section of the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​​​Train Line. TCDD General Manager Metin Akbaş and his Onsite Solution Team held meetings and field inspections with the heads of departments, contractor company officials on the railway line, which is under construction. General Manager Akbaş and his team received a progress report on the construction works in the Sapanca-Gevye section of the Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line.

General Manager Akbaş, who instructed the acceleration of the works in Doğançay T2 Tunnel, Sakarya Viaduct and Tunnel 26-27, made a project evaluation about the progress of the works.

Stating that they continue to work 7/24 in order to provide fast and comfortable transportation opportunities to the citizens, Akbaş said, “The field conditions are very tough, we will complete this line with our team and put it at the service of our people.
