Painting with 'Picasso' Sign, Seized in Siirt, in Batman Museum

During the operation in Siirt, a painting with the signature of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso was seized.

According to the written statement made by the Siirt Provincial Police Department, a search was carried out in a vehicle that was stopped as a result of the work of the Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime and Intelligence Branch Directorates. Within the scope of the Law No. 2863 on the Protection of Cultural and Natural Assets, a painting with the signature of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso was seized in the vehicle. The proceedings of the two suspects taken into custody are continuing. It was learned that the painting was handed over to the Batman Museum Directorate to determine whether it belonged to the artist.
