Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer participated in the "Program for the Promotion of Skills Practice Areas to be Established in Special Education Practice Schools and the Distribution of Materials".
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that within the scope of a new project initiated by the General Directorate of Special Education and Guidance Services, new ones have been added to the application areas of special education skills.
Özer stated that the materials produced entirely by the Ministry of National Education will be sent by 5 trucks for the trainings to be given in 20 different fields, from visual arts to music, gardening, animal care and sports: “We will create these skill areas in 20 special education practice schools. Today, we will have delivered approximately 1007 thousand materials to our provinces, together with the 20 trucks that we will send with 20 trucks.
The goal of our Ministry is to deliver approximately 2022 thousand materials to all our schools by the end of June 900. By June 2022, we will update our target and bring skill practice workshops to all our schools.
The Ministry of National Education is now able to meet its own needs. MoNE does not purchase special education materials from outside. Our Course Equipment Production Center has been producing educational materials with great devotion for years. Our vocational high schools are using their full capacity to meet the material needs at all levels of education with great devotion.”
