The farmers of the Capital city show great interest in Turkey's most comprehensive local diesel support, which was initiated by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in order to revive the economy of both the city and the local producers and encourage production. After a total of 17 million 702 thousand 34 TL of diesel support loaded on the Başkent Cards of 746 thousand 700 farmers, the activity continues at the fuel stations. The farmers from Elmadağ, who stated that they benefited from the diesel support in order to plow their fields, also thanked ABB President Mansur Yavaş.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to contribute to the economy of domestic producers as well as the city economy by diversifying its rural development projects.

FARMERS IN ALMADAĞLI ALSO STARTED TO BUY THEIR FUEL
After the diesel support of 17 million 702 thousand 34 TL, which is loaded on the Başkent Cards of 746 thousand 700 farmers throughout the city, domestic producers continue to buy diesel by coming to the contracted fuel stations with their tractors.
After the farmers from Ayaşlı, Haymanalı and Gölbaşı, the farmers from Elmadağ stated that they can plow their fields thanks to the diesel support they benefit from, while the fuel station operators pointed out that their businesses were opened and started to apply additional discounts to the farmers with Başkent Card.

In addition to the farmers from Elmadağ, the city shopkeepers also thanked Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş for this support with the following words:
İdris Kefli (Fuel Station Operator): “Domestic producers were having a hard time with the increase in fuel prices. The diesel support initiated by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has been very good for us as well as for the farmers. Our business began to settle down. We offer a 3% discount to our farmers who buy diesel from our station.”
Ömer Lütfü Kozan (Farmer): Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş provided the aid that the IMF did not provide. I bought barley seeds from the Metropolitan before. We would not have been able to plant our field without diesel support, I would like to thank everyone who contributed.''
Ahmet Kefli (Farmer): “Farmers were unable to cultivate their fields. Thanks to the diesel support, the farmers started to operate their tractors again. Last year, I benefited from the clover seed support of the Metropolitan Municipality. If there was no diesel support, I was thinking of going to banks and getting a loan.”
Isa Gencoglu (Farmer): “We were in a situation where we could not get diesel for our vehicles. With the support of our president, we will be able to plow our fields.”
Sold Yalçın (Farmer): “I would like to thank Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who has always supported us and finally given diesel support. I bought wheat before, if there was no diesel support, I was thinking of selling the animals.”
