Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which follows technological innovations closely and acts with the principle of participation in city management, aims to pave the way for young IT professionals by opening technology centers within the scope of BLD 4.0 projects. Emphasizing that they aim to make Ankara a world brand in the field of informatics at every opportunity, Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD) Chairman of the Board of Directors Simone Kaslowski, in order to provide entrepreneurship training in these centers and to provide joint working environments for entrepreneurial youth. signed the protocol.

Aiming to support the IT sector, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality encourages young entrepreneurs by establishing technology centers in different parts of the city with the aim of becoming a model and world brand similar to Silicon Valley in the Capital.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which opened the TechBridge Technology Center in Dikmen Valley after the North Star; accelerated its meetings with professional chambers, non-governmental organizations and academicians in line with the principle of 'participation'. In this context, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş and Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD) Chairman of the Board Simone Kaslowski signed a protocol to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem, to provide training in the field of entrepreneurship and to provide common working spaces for entrepreneurial youth in these centers.

YAVAŞ: “Let's GO THROUGH IT AND UPGRADE AGRICULTURE”

To the protocol signing ceremony held at Dikmen Valley Technology and Innovation Center; ABB President Mansur Yavaş, TÜSİAD Board President Simone Kaslowski, ABB Secretary General Reşit Serhat Taşkınsu, TÜSİAD Vice President Murat Özyeğin, Metropolitan Municipality Bureaucrats and TÜSİAD board members attended.

Explaining that they prepared a system where ABB's expenditure data and works are shared before the signing ceremony, ABB President Mansur Yavaş emphasized that they aim to make Ankara a world brand in the field of informatics, and drew attention to the importance of smart agriculture practices with the following words:

“By bringing together informatics and agriculture, we want to get ahead in informatics and raise agriculture up again. This place is suitable for agriculture. Encouraging things should be brought together with informatics. Universities need to come together with sector representatives. I think that 'Informatics and Agriculture Congress' should be held. We need to be able to show the examples in various regions of Turkey to our farmers. We need to establish the working system here with universities. We want to connect with mentors in Silicon Valley and get our young people to be here.”

Stating that the IT sector will be one of the most important sectors of the future, TÜSİAD Chairman of the Board Simone Kaslowski stated that they will continue to support Ankara to stand out in this field and reverse the brain drain, and made the following assessments:

“We got the idea during our visit to Silicon Valley. There were places where young people could get creative, entrepreneurial, mentoring and training. We will have our second cooperation last year in İzmir and now in Ankara, and smart cities solutions will emerge from here.”

Yavaş and Kaslowski, together with the accompanying delegation, then toured the center and made investigations.
