Eurasia Tunnel provides its electricity consumption in 2021 from renewable sources and supports the reduction of the carbon footprint resulting from electricity needs with the International Green Energy Certificate (I-REC). Eurasia Tunnel obtained its zero carbon green electricity certificate from Borusan EnBW Enerji, one of the Borusan Group companies.

The operation building of the Eurasia Tunnel, which has implemented many innovative studies on environmental sustainability and energy saving since its construction period and its commissioning in 2016, was designed as a LEED Gold Certified green building in accordance with energy saving, recycling and sustainability criteria.
