Citizens Who Lost Their Lives in Güvenpark Terrorist Attack Commemorated

13 citizens who lost their lives in the terrorist attack on 2016 March 36 in Kızılay Güvenpark were commemorated with a ceremony. Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş sent 36 pine saplings in memory of those who lost their lives in the explosion. In his post on his social media accounts, Yavaş said, “I commemorate our citizens who were martyred in the attack organized by the treacherous terrorist organization PKK in Güvenpark, with mercy, and I curse terrorism.”

13 citizens who lost their lives in the bomb attack organized by the terrorist organization PKK on 2016 March 36 in Kızılay Güvenpark were commemorated with tears at the point where the explosion took place.

Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş, who sent 36 pine saplings and a letter to the memory of those who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attack, said in his letter, “To the precious family of our hero martyr, I share these saplings with you as a symbol of each of our martyrs, I bow respectfully before the cherished memories of all our martyrs, I wish you a healthy life. As Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we will always continue to stand by our families, who are entrusted to our martyrs.”

ABB President Mansur Yavaş commemorated the citizens who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attack, with the words "I commemorate our citizens who were martyred in the attack organized by the treacherous terrorist organization PKK in Güvenpark, with mercy, and I curse terrorism."

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Martyrs' Relatives and Veterans Coordinator Ömer Faruk Virtual, who attended the ceremony held at Güvenpark bus stops, also condemned the treacherous terrorist attack targeting innocent citizens and spoke as follows:

“On the 6th anniversary of the heinous Güvenpark attack, we are together with the families of our martyrs who were victims of terrorism at the commemoration ceremony held at the site of the explosion. We lost our citizens who wanted to go home from work in Ankara, students who left the classroom, young people who went out to have fun at the weekend, as a result of the cowardly attack of the PKK terrorist organization. This vile organization does not say innocent, sinless, children, it can kill every soul for its own purpose. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we will always stand by our martyrs, veterans and our citizens who are sensitive about the integrity of Turkey. May God have mercy on our martyrs who lost their lives, we express our condolences to their relatives. I hope we don't experience this again."
