ANADOLU, which will become the "Flagship of the Turkish Navy" upon its entry into the inventory, will take its first technical cruise in the coming days. After the technical course, the acceptance tests of the amphibious assault ship ANADOLU will begin. Stating that ANADOLU will strengthen the Turkish Navy with Bayraktar TB3 SİHAs, the SSB said, “Our target for the survival of a great and powerful Turkey is a Fully Independent Defense Industry!” made statements.

In the Multi-Purpose Amphibious Assault Ship project, which was initiated to increase Turkey's amphibious operational capabilities, the first sea tests of ANADOLU, whose equipment activities are also continuing, were carried out. Regarding the sea test of ANADOLU, Sedef Shipyard said, "The TCG ANADOLU, which was built in our shipyard, was exposed to the anchor area from the dock on Sunday, 27.02.2022, and returned to our Shipyard after the successful test." statement was made. Bayraktar TB3 SİHA is preparing for the first flight

According to the Turkish Defense Industry 2022 Targets announced by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), Bayraktar TB3 SİHA, which is under development by Baykar Technology and can take off from ships with short runways, will make its first flight in 2022. Bayraktar TB3 is planned to be used in the ANADOLU Amphibious Assault Ship for the first time.

Bayraktar TB3 was first announced by Baykar Technology Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar in a post about the domestic UAV engine PD-170, with the information that the engine in question would be integrated into the TB3 SİHA.

Bayraktar TB2021, the technical features of which were announced at TEKNOFEST 3, will have a higher payload capacity (2 kg versus 150 kg) and foldable wings to save space during transportation, as well as the ability to take off from short runways compared to Bayraktar TB280. Bayraktar TB3, which will be the first MALE class SİHA developed for take-off and landing from LHD class ships, can be considered to have an important place for Turkey in the field of naval aviation.
