In the statement, which stated that the accident occurred around 17.00 yesterday, it was stated that "A worker of Russian nationality, who was one of the subcontractor employees, was seriously injured and lost his life in the pre-assembly area next to the 1st unit of the Akkuyu NPP construction site, while a metal structure was being erected." .
In the statement that the judicial process regarding the accident started, it was also stated that the causes of the incident were started to be investigated by a special commission.
