While providing free internet service to students in the Ornekköy Girls' Dormitory of the Metropolitan Municipality, the coverage area of ​​the free internet service in Buca Hasanağa Garden was also expanded.

I would also like to thank them for providing us with free wi-fi service, especially in this process where online trainings are very common, and for making it easy for us to process internet-requiring transactions such as online lessons.”

Hüseyin Şimşek, who stated that he used internet service when he was in Hasanağa Garden, said: “The internet has now become a necessity in the flow of life. Almost every moment of us continues on the internet. Of course, it is very nice that local governments offer such services. I would like to thank Izmir Metropolitan Municipality for this.”

High school student Okan Kuşçu, who said that he uses the tram and can easily access the internet, said, “I benefit from the free internet application provided by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality when using public transportation. Internet speed and quality is also good. I can do all my activities on the phone," he said.

Aliağa, Bahri Baba, Torbalı, Bornova, Bostanlı, Cumaovası, Çiğli, Egekent, ESBAŞ, Evka-3, Fahrettin Altay, Halkapınar, Hatun Dere, İnkılap, Karşıyaka WizmirNet points were created for the transfer points of İskele, Kemer, Şirinyer, Mavişehir, Menemen, Üçkuyular, Üçyol, Sarnıç and Semt Garage. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality provides free internet service at 78 points, including 7 parks and squares, 20 piers, 60 ferryboats, 78 buses, 16 villages, 41 metro stations, 23 trams and 323 transfer centers throughout the city.
