In the statement made by STM; We have left behind another important milestone in the Preveze Class Submarine Half-Life Modernization Project (PREVEZE-YÖM), carried out under the responsibility of the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB).
In the PREVEZE-YÖM Project, which includes the modernization of 4 Preveze Class Submarines, the Critical Design Phase of the project was approved by the SSB after the sea acceptance tests of the Inertial Travel, CTD Probe, Chilled Water and Static Inverter systems, which were required to be delivered during the continuation of the design phases. Thus, the design phases of the project came to an end.
We have successfully completed the platform integration for the first ship in the MÜREN Combat Management System Project, which we are responsible for platform integration and carried out simultaneously with PREVEZE-YÖM.
Critical missions to STM in Preveza
Preveze Class Submarine Half-Life Modernization Project; It covers the modernization of TCG Preveze (S-353), TCG Sakarya (S-354), TCG 18 Mart (S-355) and TCG Anafartalar (S-356) submarines, which are in the inventory of the Naval Forces Command.
