The "Start Your Dreams" event was held by the Capsule Technology Platform, which was established under the Konya Metropolitan Municipality in order to contribute to the National Technology Move and turn Konya into a technology base. At the event, ASELSAN Konya and InnoPark officials, one of the Capsule Technology Platform stakeholders, came together with the youth.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Capsule Technology Platform realized its first program after moving to Zindankale Campus.
In addition to ASELSAN Konya and InnoPark team, one of the Capsule Technology Platform stakeholders, Alper Oral, Head of Youth and Sports Services Department of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, attended the “Start Your Dreams” event at the Tantavi Cultural Center.
Speaking at the program, ASELSAN Konya Engineering Director Serkan Güvey said that he is happy to be with an exciting, dynamic and young community. Giving important advice to the young people in his speech, Güvey emphasized that the young people should develop themselves on the way to ASELSAN Konya, thanks to the cooperation with the Capsule Technology Platform.
InnoPark President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Botsalı explained the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship and underlined that they contribute to the development of young people with informal education as well as formal education, and said that the cooperation between the Capsule Technology Platform and InnoPark is a union of intent to pave the way for young people.
In the program, Capsule Technology Platform Coordinator Mehmet Ali Tulukcu also talked about the operation of the platform, the work plan of the teams, laboratory and R&D activities.
CAPSULE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM
Capsule Technology Platform, Turkey's first municipality-supported technology platform, carries out activities to participate in many national and international competitions, especially TEKNOFEST, where teams of students take part.
The Capsule Technology Platform will support a total of 2022 teams in 100. After the announcement of 70 of these teams, the other 30 teams will be selected from the applications to be opened again after the TEKNOFEST pre-selection process. The platform provides mentors, training, materials and office support for the selected teams.
