These structures, which were very popular especially in the USA during the 2008 global financial recession triggered by the housing (mortgage) crisis, have become quite common in Turkey during the current pandemic period. The latest examples of this trend were showcased at the 'Premo Prefabrik, Modular, Tiny House Construction & Decoration Fair' to be held by Tureks International Fairs at the Istanbul Expo Center.
