Security Ways Provide Speed ​​and Efficiency to the Fight Against Terrorism

The "Security Roads Project" implemented by the Ministry of Interior increased the effectiveness of the 2017 kilometers of security roads built between 2021 and 1430 in the fight against terrorism.

With the new security concept, which was implemented after July 15, 2016, upon the instruction of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, significant successes were achieved in the fight against terrorism.

Important steps have been taken in field and field security with the increase of domestic and national technology capacity in the defense industry, especially unmanned aerial vehicles and armed unmanned aerial vehicles, and the work of the security forces.

The "Security Routes Project" was implemented by our Ministry in order to ensure that the security forces reach the regions quickly and safely and their logistics needs are met in a short time, in order to put forward a determined and effective fight against all terrorist organizations and their extensions, especially the PKK.

Within the scope of the project, a total of 2017 billion 2021 million 1 thousand 535 lira appropriations were sent to the governorates between 828-919 for the construction of new roads in the regions where the fight against terrorism continues. 2017 kilometers in 134,6, 2018 kilometers in 330, 2019 kilometers in 324,5, 2020 kilometers in 221 and 2021 kilometers in 420 were completed.

Thus, a total of 2017 kilometers of safety roads were built in the five-year period between 2021-1430.
Within the scope of the project, it is planned to complete the 450 kilometers long road this year.

The Security Roads Project increased the dominance of the security forces in the counter-terrorism zones and enabled them to perform effective and rapid interventions. In addition, the project contributed to reducing the number of terrorists in Turkey below 150.
