Turkish Aerospace Industries is participating in the biennial Singapore Airshow, one of the most important aviation organizations in Asia, between 15-18 February 2022. The company, which will exhibit the one-to-one model of the National Combat Aircraft developed with national resources at the Turkish Aerospace Industries facilities in the Asian market for the first time, will meet the visitors at the same fair with the 1/7 model models of the other platforms it has developed.
Accelerating its efforts to develop joint new projects in the field of defense industry and aerospace in the Asian market with the office it opened in Malaysia recently, Turkish Aerospace Industries made a name for itself in the Asian market in 2021 with the ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicle sales agreement it signed with Kazakhstan. The company, which participated in the tender for the HURJET Jet Trainer, which continues mass production at the Turkish Aerospace Industries, and the jet trainer aircraft opened by Malaysia, aims to carry out important works for other platforms in the coming period and to strengthen its presence in this market.
Sharing his views on the Singapore Airshow, Turkish Aerospace Industries General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil said, “We are excited to be at the Singapore Airshow once again. We attach importance to the Asian market. We are determined to take important steps for a period in which we will accelerate our efforts to increase our cooperation both in the academic field and production-oriented in order to strengthen our presence in this large market, especially in Malaysia and Kazakhstan. We continue to work on new business models in order to develop our historically close relations with Asian countries in the field of aviation. In this sense, we will meet with military and civilian representatives from countries and companies that will participate in the Singapore Airshow and hold important meetings in order to develop capacity.”
