Balamir Gündoğdu, Secretary General of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, announced that the bids given by the companies in the cable car tender held in the past days were canceled by the tender commission due to the fact that although the new update was made, the approximate cost remained well above the approximate cost. Stating that they are doing the necessary work for the project to start as soon as possible, Secretary General Gündoğdu informed that the electronic tender processes have been started.

THREE COMPANIES HAVE BIDDED

In the second session in the afternoon of the bidding, which was held in two stages on January 25, the last bids of the 3 companies whose files were accepted in the previous qualification tender were received in sealed envelopes. In this session, the partnership of Grand Yapı+Pam İnşaat made the lowest bid of 318 million TL, while the partnership of Leintner+SPA submitted 349 million TL, and the Bartholet AG+Kır Tur partnership offered 328 million TL.

CARRY 1500 PEOPLE PER HOUR

The cable car line that will run between Derbent and Kuzuyayla will be 4 thousand 695 meters. In the cable car project, which will include 2 stations, 10 cabins for 73 people will serve. The elevation distance on the cable car line with a capacity of 1500 people per hour will be 1090 meters. Accordingly, the starting level will be 331 meters and the arrival level will be 1421 meters. The distance between the two stations will be exceeded in 14 minutes. The cable car line is planned to be completed and put into service in 2023.
