Istanbul Airport achieved a great success by being selected as the "Airport of the Year" this year after 2021 in the "Air Transport Awards", which are shown among the prestigious publications of the world aviation industry.
As one of the best airports in the world, Istanbul Airport was awarded consecutively by prestigious institutions and was selected as the "Airport of the Year" in the "Air Transport Awards" awards, which evaluates and rewards 14 different categories of the aviation industry. More than 4 readers and leading executives of the aviation industry participated in the voting, which was held with the opinion of aviation authorities, and the winners are determined by voting. Singapore Changi, Dubai, Lisbon and Doha airports are among the winners of the competition in the past years. Istanbul Airport is the second airport to win the competition after Singapore Changi Airport.
