According to the flight data of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL), covering the dates between January 27 and February 3, Istanbul Airport became the airport with the most flights in Europe with a total of 7 thousand 55 flights.

Ranking first among European airports in terms of number of passengers with 2021 million 36 thousand 988 passengers hosted in 563, Istanbul Airport was also at the top of Europe in the number of flights operated between 27 January and 3 February. According to EUROCONTROL data, a total of 7 thousand 55 flights took place from Istanbul Airport in the said date range. In the same period, the highest daily flight figure was reached on January 960 with 30 flights.

After Istanbul Airport, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport took the second place in the list with 6 thousand 474 flights. Madrid Barajas Airport was the third with 6 flights, and Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport was the fourth with 123 thousand 6 flights.
