Great Excitement at Academy High School Karting Tournament

The races organized by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Department on February 26-27, 2022 at the Outlet Center Karting Track witnessed great excitement. Competing in the top 30 in the men's and women's categories in the qualification races of the Academy High School Karting Tournament, they qualified for the finals and continued their dreams of becoming a champion.

BREATHTAKING FIGHTS

In the qualifying races of the 2022 Academy High School Karting Tournament, 2 athletes competed in 109 different categories. The organization, in which the athletes to participate in the final eliminations were determined, witnessed breathtaking struggles in two days.

BEST TIME IN 6 TOURS

At the end of the organization, in the qualifying race attended by 49 athletes in the women's category, Buse Demiray took the first place by making the best time in 300 laps on the 6-meter track, while Nurgül Açıkgöz took the second place and Senanur Erkan took the third place. In the men's category, Yaser Altuner, who had the best time in 300 laps on the 6-meter track, finished first in the qualifying race, in which 60 athletes participated. Yusuf Efe Kurt took the second place and Berkay Karaag took the third place.

THE FINALS WILL CONTINUE WITH THE QUALIFICATION RACES

The Academy High Schools Karting Tournament will continue with the final qualifying races to be held at the Outlet Center Karting Track on March 05 and the champions in all categories will be announced on March 13th. The list of athletes who were successful in the qualifying races of the tournament and qualified for the final eliminations to be held on March 05, 2022 was as follows;

Seyda Sakarya, Elif Engin, Dilay Arıkan, Nazlı Kızılot, Yağmur Altınay, Şevval Çamlıce, Sinem Sucu, Berivan Gönül, Çağla Özen, Ceren Aydın, İlknur Şen, Karin Karakaş, Şevval Tözüm, Beyza Gençosman, Sümeyye Kaynak, Dilan Yüksek, Gizem Akcan , Aleyna Fabric, Dilara Feyat, Cansu Venice, Tuana Bartan, Sümeyye Akbaba and Rümeysa Sarıkaya.
