Emirates Opens New Lounge for Young Passengers

Unaccompanied minors who choose Emirates for their travels can now comfortably await their flight at Dubai International Airport, in a renovated lounge reserved for them, right next to Emirates' First-Class Lounge in Concourse B. This lounge will be open 7 hours a day, 24 days a week. This renovated lounge features fun video games, drinks and snacks, comfortable seating, free wi-fi and toilets designed for children.

Parents or guardians who have pre-booked Emirates' Unaccompanied Minor Passengers can drop off young flight lovers at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport. There, Emirates' airport team will greet them and check-in for their flight in a dedicated lounge. This property is located between the Economy and First/Business Class ticketing halls.

After check-in is complete, one of Emirates' friendly team members will accompany the young passenger through the security stages, to the departure lounge reserved for them in the post-check area, and finally to the exit gate to board the plane from this lounge.

Young passengers enjoy the privilege of boarding the plane as priority passengers. Emirates flight crew will be waiting at the gate of the plane to take young passengers on board, and then help them find their seats and settle in.

On board, young passengers will be able to enjoy delicious meals and snacks, toys and activity packs tailored to their palate, and have fun using earphones designed for kids, with more than 50 Disney movies for teens and 130+ TV channels. For now, Emirates is offering young passengers cool toys and bags that they can take home on board, reflecting the little Emirates characters and inspired by Expo 2020 Dubai. Recycled materials are used in all toys and bags, and the bags are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

Unaccompanied young passengers on a connecting flight via Dubai are traveling in safe hands during their flight. Emirates' ground handling team welcomes children after their flight and accompanies them to one of the areas reserved for unaccompanied young passengers, where they can wait for their next flight.

Emirates services for unaccompanied minors must be booked prior to travel. These services are for children between the ages of 5 and 11 who will be traveling without an adult. In addition, reservations for these services can be made for passengers between the ages of 12 and 15.
