Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they integrated Bursa into the railway network with the construction of Balıkesir-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed Train Line, and announced that the new construction of the project started 4 months ago and they aim to complete the project in the next 2 years. Underlining that the total savings will reach 26 billion TL in 15,4 years with the project, Karaismailoğlu noted that the length of the rail system in Bursa will reach 2023 kilometers with the Emek-HT Gar-Şehir Hospital Metro Line Project, which is aimed to be put into service in 52,7.
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu examined the Bursa Mudanya Boulevard High Speed Train superstructure construction site. Karaismailoğlu, who made a press release after the examination, said, “Bursa, a privileged city with its industry, trade, agriculture, tourism and history, has increased its effectiveness many times over with our investments in the transportation and infrastructure sector for 20 years. We are making serious plans to connect Bursa with the world in every mode of transportation, as we do all our cities. We continue our efforts with all our strength to increase new investments, productivity, efficiency and employment. Bursa is one of the cities that play a key role in the development of Turkey. It has made this position even more effective with the significant investments made with the AK Party governments. For this reason, we are aware of the importance of every project that will strengthen Bursa's transportation network.
29.5 BILLION TL TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION INVESTMENT IN BURSA
Underlining that the amount of investment made in Bursa only in the field of transportation and communication in the last 13 years, 20 billion of which is within the scope of Build-Operate-Transfer, is approximately 29,5 billion liras, Karaismailoğlu said that in 2003, there was 194 kilometers of divided roads in Bursa, which was 600 kilometers. “Bursa has been deprived of a railway for years. We started the new construction of our project, for which we also tendered the missing parts in August 2020, 4 months ago. Thus, full staff work in all parts of our high-speed train line has started at full speed. high speed train line; By following the Yenişehir route, Gürsu will be connected to the Ankara-Istanbul HT line with the Müselles line to be built in Osmaneli, and our beautiful Bursa will be included in the HT network. At the same time, TEKNOSAB will reach Balıkesir by passing through Karacabey stations in the west of Bursa. Thus, the railway connection between Bursa and Balıkesir will be put into service.”
WE AIM TO COMPLETE OUR PROJECT WITHIN 2 YEARS
Pointing out that passenger transport and freight transport will be carried out together in the project, Karaismailoğlu stated that they have built 20 tunnels with a length of 706 meters, 18 railway bridges with a length of 545 meters, 4 viaducts with a length of 2 meters and 445 bridges with a length of 3 thousand 5 meters. Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu, said, “When our line with a total of 495 stations and 24 kilometers is completed, our city of Bursa will be integrated into the railway network. Thanks to the integration of the metro, which is being built by our Ministry, into the Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli high-speed train line, we will offer our fellow citizens of Bursa a very comfortable and punctual option for high-speed train access. We aim to complete our project in the next 7 years. When our high-speed train project is completed, in the 201-year projection between 2-2024; With the completion of the high-speed train line, 2050 billion TL from time, 26 million TL from highway maintenance and operation, 4,3 billion TL from external benefits such as air pollution, climate change, noise, cost of nature and green land, biodiversity, soil and water pollution. The total economic savings will reach 585 billion TL," he said.
MARMARA RING IS CREATED, INCLUDING BURSA
Karaismailoğlu stated that by starting a digitalization attack in all processes in both transportation and communication, they have become synchronized with the world in every sense. Thanks to this project, thousands of personnel were employed in the facilities on the Istanbul-Izmir Highway route, maintenance and repair operation centers and other commercial areas. After the Istanbul-Izmir Highway came into service, 306 new facilities with operating certificates were opened on this route. 31 thousand new business certificated rooms joined tourism. The businesses, which added 61 thousand beds, thus had a longer tourism season. Due to the existence of commercial ports, the region, where a significant part of the export and import from Turkey is carried out, continues its development after the conveniences provided in transportation. While the project contributed 8,5 billion liras to GDP in the production sector, 8 new OIZs were positioned on the highway route. In the region, which has become a center of attraction for investors, 13 thousand 2 hectares have been expanded in 635 OIZs. Here, too, 54 thousand personnel were employed. In this region, which is suitable for agriculture with its climatic conditions and geography; An increase of 300 thousand decares of cultivated area and an increase of 408 thousand tons in production volume were achieved. In animal husbandry, an increase of 713 thousand animals in sheep and 350 thousand in cattle was seen. Thanks to the highway, the products produced in agricultural lands reach the consumer in a much shorter time.”
THE LINE IS THE 1915 ÇANAKKALE BRIDGE
Karaismailoğlu said, “We also provide the infrastructure of production, employment, development, communication and delivery to our nation,” and said that the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge was next. Pointing out that the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge will be put into service days later, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said, "Thanks to our bridge, our region will become the commercial crossroads of the rising Eurasian and African geography."
RAIL SYSTEM LENGTH WILL REACH 52,7 KILOMETER
Karaismailoğlu, who stated that they continue to weave world-wide transportation networks that allow comfortable and safe journeys for Bursa, which is fully equipped with life projects and housing projects implemented in a wide area with new organized industrial zones, said that the Emek-HT Gar-Şehir Hospital Metro Line Project is also in Bursa. He noted that it is one of the most important projects in progress in terms of construction. Providing information about the metro line project, Karaismailoğlu continued his speech as follows:
“The construction of the Emek-HT Gar-Şehir Hospital Metro Line was taken over by our Ministry with the protocol signed between Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and our Ministry on 8 June 2020. When our Emek-HT Gar-Şehir Hospital Metro line, which has 4 stations and 6 kilometers in total, is completed, the length of the rail system in Bursa will reach 46,7 kilometers from 52,7 kilometers. Emek- Arabayatagi Metro line, which is in operation; With the extension we will make, it will cross Mudanya Boulevard and reach the most important stops, the HT Station and finally the City Hospital. Thus, we will facilitate the access of our citizens of Bursa to the hospital. Our metro line will serve 300 thousand passengers daily. Within the scope of our project to integrate the Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli HT line and the metro, which is still under construction by our Ministry, a metro warehouse maintenance and parking facility will also be built on an area of 140 thousand m². This new facility will also serve the maintenance-repair and parking needs of the entire metro vehicle fleet of Bursa.”
871 MILLION DOLLARS ECONOMIC WITH THE METRO LINE KAZANÇ WILL BE PROVIDED
Explaining that the construction of the line will be done with the cut-and-cover method and that it will work as a system that passes under the streets and does not occupy surface area when it is finished, Karaismailoğlu said, “When our metro line, which we aim to complete in 2023, becomes operational, it will cost a lot of money. kazanwe'll have them. However, narrow mindsets who have no projects other than sculptures and who complain about Turkey to foreigners at every opportunity have tried to smear our work in Bursa as well.”

However; We have been dealt with persistently repeated lies about the Bursa high-speed train line tender by the leader of the main opposition party and his party's deputies. They thought that they would remove our nation with their lies. No, let there be mud trails. We gave them the answers they needed. We will settle accounts in court. They made unfortunate statements at the expense of disgracing themselves in front of our beloved nation with completely untrue and slanderous false information. We told the truth of the matter in a language that everyone can understand. So, the first tender of 106 kilometers went up to 201 kilometers. Moreover, there is a 29-month time difference between the two tenders. The construction of 7 High Speed Train station stations was also added to the project. We have no account that we cannot give. If you jump on a lie without research, you will make people laugh at yourself in this way. This mentality, which is the enemy of investment, which is against every work for the good of our country, will be condemned as always in the judiciary and the conscience of our beloved nation. Our people know very well those who bring the water and those who break the jug, and they understand very well the difference between the two mentalities. On the one hand, with the support and will of our people, we, namely the AK Party staff, carry Turkey with firm steps towards 2023, 2050 and 2071 and produce projects that will achieve its goals; On the other hand, those who threaten the successful projects and investors are those who slander. They are trying to hinder our investments with various excuses. But no matter what they do, they will never succeed.”

Stating that they cleared all the stones in front of Bursa and added these stones to the foundation of Bursa's divided roads, high-speed railway and metro line, Karaismailoğlu said that each investment, including employment under construction, will bring vitality to the regional and country economy along with many sectors when it is completed and put into service.
