The winners of the national cartoon competition organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality with the theme "Another Agriculture is Possible" were awarded by the President. Tunç Soyertook it from her hand.

The winners of the national cartoon competition, organized for the first time this year by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality with the theme of “Another Agriculture is Possible”, received their awards at Agroexpo-17. The Fair was held in Izmir as part of the International Agriculture and Livestock Fair activities. Minister Tunç Soyer presented the first prize to Kürşat Zaman, the second prize to Cemalettin Güzeloğlu, and the third prize to Hamit Gış.
İzmir Village-Koop Union President Neptün Soyer, Orion Fairs Chairman of the Board Fatih Tan, Beydağ Mayor Feridun Yılmazlar, jury members, contest participants, bureaucrats and citizens attended the ceremony.

Young Encouragement and Honorable Mention Awards also found their owners

Share Kiraz and Rana Duran, who were deemed worthy of Young Encouragement Award at the ceremony, were presented with their awards by İzmir Village-Koop Union President Neptün Soyer. Orion Fairs Chairman of the Board Fatih Tan received the award due to Rana Duran's absence.

The selection committee awarded Fatih Aksular, Altan Özeskici and Mehmet Zeber with honorable mention. Due to Fatih Aksular's absence, the award was given to jury member Lütfü Dağtaş, Dr. Ülkümen got it from Rodoplu. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Agricultural Services Department Head Şevket Meriç presented Altan Özeskici's award and Mehmet Zeber's award was given by Beydağ Mayor Feridun Yılmazlar.

391 works participated

33 participants from 216 different cities, including agricultural cities such as Ardahan, Şanlıurfa, Kastamonu, Çorum and Aydın, participated in the competition with a total of 391 cartoons, in which it was aimed to strengthen social awareness by using the power of art against vital risks such as climate crisis and drought.
