The Metropolitan Municipality Department of Cultural and Natural Heritage, aiming to revive the competition culture, is starting the application process for the "2023 100th Anniversary of the Republic Monument Idea Project Competition" for the monument to be built on Dikmen Çaldağ Hill.
COUNTDOWN STARTS FOR IDEAS CONTEST APPLICATIONS
Known as the place where Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was first welcomed in Ankara in the year he started the War of Independence, Çaldağ Hill will host the award-winning work to be determined by the people of Ankara.
Applications for the idea project competition, which will be held before the monument to be built on the area that will be crowned with the "100th Anniversary of the Republic Monument" and which is aimed to be turned into a center of attraction and brought to tourism, will start to be received as of February 14, 2022.

ARTIFICIAL OWNERS WILL BE AWARDED AT THE RESULT OF THE COMPETITION
Jury members formed by the Academic Committee from experts in their fields will begin to evaluate the works on March 18, 2022.
The winners of the competition and the winners of the works will be rewarded with money. Among the teams consisting of Architects, Sculptors, Urban Planners and Landscape Architects, the 1st work will be entitled to receive 200 thousand TL, the 2nd work 120 thousand, and the third owner 3 thousand TL.
