Opening the way for entrepreneurs by opening Technological Entrepreneurship Centers in the city, the Metropolitan Municipality aims to open the world especially for young people in the IT sector. The 'Segion Initiative', led by Berke Dabağ and Batuhan Tekmen, who carry out their work at the North Star TechBridge Center, has participated in the '15. It achieved success by receiving 3 different awards at the Ankara Start-Up Summit.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to support the development of qualified human resources in Ankara by activating, implements projects that especially encourage young people to research and development on technological issues.
The Metropolitan Municipality enables young people to achieve success with the free Technological Entrepreneurship Centers, which it opened at two points in the first place, in order to contribute to the development of the IT sector in Başkent and to provide job opportunities for young ideas.
THANKS TO THE WORK AT THE TECHBRIDGE CENTER, 3 DIFFERENT AWARDS
Young entrepreneurs who started to work at the North Star TechBridge Center, opened by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, which took action for young people to open up to the world in the IT sector, are also breaking records of success after success.
One of these entrepreneurs, 21-year-old Berke Dabağ, participated in the '12. It achieved an important success by receiving 2021 different awards at the Ankara Start-Up Summit. 'Segion Initiative' led by Berke Dabağ and Batuhan Tekmen, at the 15th Ankara Start-Up Summit, which was organized specifically for web and mobile-based entrepreneurs, bringing entrepreneurs, industry leaders and investors together; It won the "Amazon AWS Web Server Award" worth 3 thousand dollars, the "Hacettepe Teknokent Incubation Award" and the third prize in the "Start-Up Battle" competition.
Berke Dabağ, who stated that they benefited from many opportunities in the hosting of the Metropolitan Municipality, summarized his thoughts with the following words:
“Our team consists of 10 people from METU. When we were going to carry out our work, we had to meet in a common area. We couldn't do this before TechBridge. We missed a few projects because of this. We find the opportunity to work in Technology Centers and we achieve success by working together.”
YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS STARTED TO ANNOUNCE THEIR NAMES
Organized at Bilkent University, the '15. Segion Initiative, one of the North Star Techbridge entrepreneurs, which returned with 3 different awards from the Ankara Start-Up Summit, also developed instant analysis technology of vehicle damage with artificial intelligence.
The team, which won the second prize worth 7 thousand 500 TL in the "Ankara Development Agency TechAnkara Entrepreneurship Center Program", also received the "TechAnkara Office" award.
