Our Minister of Family and Social Services, Derya Yanık, said, "We are depositing the elderly pension and disability pensions in February, together with their differences."
Minister Yanık made statements about the elderly pension and disability pensions.
Noting that they will provide elderly pension assistance of approximately 1 billion 31 million TL in February, Minister Yanık stated that they will pay approximately 799 million TL for disability pensions within the payment period.
Underlining that they will make a total payment of 1 billion 830 million TL within the scope of elderly and disabled pensions, Minister Yanık said, “With the new regulation made in the civil servant salary coefficient in January, the elderly pension has increased from 828 TL to 1.084 TL, and the disabled pension of 40-69 percent is 661 TL. The pension of citizens with a disability report of 865% or more increased from 70 TL to 991 TL. In this direction, we deposit the elderly pension and disability pensions in February, together with the difference arising from January. I wish the payments will be beneficial to all our disabled and elderly citizens," he said.
Minister Yanık said that services for disabled and elderly citizens are carried out within the framework of human-oriented and rights-based policies.
Stating that they develop inclusive and regular social assistance programs for disabled and elderly citizens, Minister Yanık said, "We stand by our disabled and elderly people in every field from education to health, from economy to social life so that disabled and elderly citizens can live independently with their full and effective participation in social life."
Minister Yanık noted that they will deposit their February old age pension and disabled pensions into their owners' accounts until February 9.
