At the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympic Winter Games, 50 projects from 611 countries were gathered to create a public space art collection. Turkey's Düzce University Faculty Member Assoc. Dr. Ilker Yardimci's work was successful in exhibiting with countries such as China, England, Italy and Bulgaria, and made a great impression in the international arena.

In the process that has been going on since 2020, 6 sculptures from 15 countries were selected. It was aimed to reflect the culture and spirit of the Olympics and to get the world to know each other better. The sculptures, located along the marathon running route in the Winter Olympics Park, were arranged with an open-air museum approach and were considered as a cultural and artistic legacy left to the city of Beijing.

Taking part in the Olympics, Assoc. Dr. Ilker Yardimci's sculpture titled “Lyric Message” aims to add new meanings to the lives of the audience in the infinity and cycle of the universe. The circle in the center, which symbolizes a piece of DNA in the sculpture created with the feelings of mutual awareness and tolerance, tells the common point and basis of life. While stainless steel symbolizes universal knowledge and integrity in spherical form, the sculpture reflects its environment with its material feature. The sculpture aims to contribute to the international Olympic spirit and human culture.

Assoc. Dr. "I hope that those who watch my sculpture will understand the great importance of the Olympics for the solidarity of humanity and the development of the world," said İlker Yanık.
