Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yavuz Selim Kıran shared the current procedures to be applied at the border gates for Turkish citizens evacuated from Ukraine.

Yavuz Selim Kıran, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, on his Twitter account, "We have started our land evacuation operations from Ukraine. We are in close cooperation with the countries of the region to facilitate the passage of our citizens, who will leave through our evacuation operations or by their own means, through the border gates.”

Procedures at Border Gates Shared with Turks to be Evacuated from Ukraine

Turkish citizens will be able to enter the Poland and Moldova border gate with a passport or identity card, and PCR tests, vaccination certificates and visas will not be required from the citizens. Citizens who will use the Romanian and Bulgarian border gate will be able to enter with a passport, and PCR tests, vaccination certificates and visas will not be required from the citizens. Citizens who will use the Hungarian border gate will be able to pass with a passport and citizens who do not have a vaccination certificate will have a PCR test. Citizens will be able to pass through the border gate without a visa. Citizens who will pass through the Slovakia border gate will also be able to pass with a passport or an identity card according to individual assessment, PCR test, vaccination certificate and visa will not be required from the citizens.
