Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which produces alternative solutions to alleviate the busy traffic line of the city, continues to contribute to the citizens' more convenient and comfortable transportation. Finally, with the completion of 1 bridges and connection roads built within the scope of the 'Gebze TEM Bridges Connection Roads 4st Stage Project', the Metropolitan, which gave a sigh of relief to Gebze traffic, is also putting the finishing touches on the İlimtepe Connection Road, which it has designed in Körfez district. The 'Ilimtepe Connection Road 1st Stage Project', which will add a different value to the Gulf, will connect the southern and northern sides of the district. In this context, the work carried out on the 5,2st stage of the 1 kilometer road starting from Körfez Yeniyalı Mahallesi and going to İlimtepe Mahallesi has reached the final stage.
CROSSING BRIDGE IS 128,7 METERS LONG
In the project, a 19-meter-wide, 128,7-meter-long reinforced concrete bridge was built over the TEM Highway. Thus, within the scope of the 1st phase of the project, the road starting from Anadolu Döküm Intersection will be crossed over the TEM Highway with a 128,7-meter-long bridge and connected to Yunus Emre Street. The road starting from D-100 Yeniyalı Neighborhood will pass through Çamlıtepe and Yavuz Sultan Selim Neighborhoods.
ONE INTERCHANGE IS BUILT, OTHER IS BUILT
Finally, a new intersection was built in the remaining part of the project in Çamlıtepe Mahallesi. The teams, which have completed the asphalt, pavement and infrastructure works together with the junction production, are now producing the second and last junction of the project in the area where Yeniyalı Mahallesi is located. Accordingly, the teams, which have completed the infrastructure, pavement and superstructure productions on Hürriyet Boulevard, carry out an intense asphalt paving process in the area called 'Muftuluk Junction'.
MANUFACTURING OF PEDESTRIAN AND CAR GUARDS COMPLETE
In the project, where a feverish work is carried out, other productions are also carried out. In this context, the teams completed the production of a 670-meter-long pedestrian guardrail and a 970-meter-long auto guardrail. The countdown has begun for the project, where the finishing touches were made. The Metropolitan aims to open the 1st stage of the road to İlimtepe to the service of Kocaeli residents as soon as possible and to give the traffic a sigh of relief.
TRANSPORTATION WILL BE COMFORTABLE IN THE GULF
İlimtepe Connection Road 1st Stage Project will make the traffic flow of the Gulf regular and safe. Accordingly, the road starting from D-100 Yeni Yalı Neighborhood will pass through Çamlıtepe and Yavuz Sultan Selim neighborhoods. With the completion of the next stages of the four-lane road that will provide a north-south connection between the D-100 Highway and İlimtepe Residences, the connection of the Sevindikli exit of the Northern Marmara Highway with the D-100 Highway will be provided.
